By downloading, installing, or using Habit Buddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Habit Buddy is a free habit tracking application that allows users to:

  • • Create and track daily habits
  • • View analytics and statistics about habit completion
  • • Customize the app's appearance with themes and fonts
  • • Optionally backup data to Google Drive

3. User Accounts

  • • No Account Required: Habit Buddy works fully offline without requiring account creation
  • • Optional Google Sign-In: Users may optionally sign in with Google to enable cloud backup features
  • • Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their Google account if cloud features are used

4. User Data and Privacy

  • • All user data is stored locally on the user's device by default
  • • Users may optionally enable Google Drive backup
  • • We do not collect, store, or share personal information

5. Acceptable Use

Users agree NOT to:

  • • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • • Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
  • • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks

  • • Habit Buddy and all its contents are owned by the developer
  • • Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal purposes
  • • Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission

  • • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App (which is $0 as the App is free)

  • • We are not responsible for any loss of user data
  • • Users are encouraged to use the backup feature to protect their data
  • • Users should regularly backup important habit data

11. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • • Modify or discontinue the App at any time
  • • Update features, functionality, or user interface
  • • Change these Terms and Conditions with notice

  • • Users may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it
  • • We may terminate access for violation of these terms
  • • Upon termination, all locally stored data will be deleted with the app
